With the help of a Community Grant from The Arts Society the Young Arts group were able to provide an exciting opportunity for very young children at St Teilo’s Primary School, Tenby.

Inspired by studying works by Andrew Goldsworthy the children were encouraged to create their own designs using natural materials from their local environment.

Over a six week period materials were collected from the seashore, hedgerow and footpaths and children used shells, pebbles, feathers, driftwood, petals, leaves and seed heads to create imaginative designs of their own.

At the final session parents were invited to join their children and create an artwork with the help of their children.   The sessions were led by inspirational Early Years Professional, Inge Fey and The Arts Society  West Wales matched the Community Grant to make this project a success.
